Harvesting Onion at Home from Kitchen at FREE OF COST

Hello readers !  So, in today's world, we should grow some edible organic foods at our home. So, today, I'm going to share you a simple method of growing Onion, it is so easy to grow at Home. 

We will use a market brought Onion to grow at home. We will use a onion from kitchen and will try to grow it. I've taken a plastic pot with a big hole at bottom as onion doesn't like water logging. Also, carefully choose the pot that has wider radius than height. So, here I'll use a cotton cloth piece to cover the drainage hole. 

SOIL MEDIA:

Onion loves light weight growing media, so we will use soil a little bit. We can use coco peat but instead of that, I'm gonna use a different and easy method. We are gonna use dried leaves and Flowers with some compost mixed soil. I am creating layers with organic waste and compost mixed soil. It'll so light weight.

PLANTING:

Plant the onion in the center of the plant, so that roots can grow gradually all around the pot.   Cover upper surface with compost rich soil. After planting, We have to water it thoroughly until water comes out of the bottom. Keep in mind to do not allow water to be logged, as it'll kill onion plant. 

UPDATE:

So,  after two weeks later, You can see that it has grown quite well, in fact so good in just two weeks. So, use this method to grow onion, you will get outstanding result.
